Reviews
Great location and cool hotel...
- What did you like most?Good location, easy free parking, left our bags behind the desk before we could book in so we could go exploring, very fast reply to messages, cans of water in the room were a nice touch
- Was there anything you didn't like?Having to pay to use the fitness area, we thought it was included in the price as it advertises having gym facilities. Would prefer a separate price to just use the gym facilities as only wanted to use the gym and not bouldering, but the price was too much for a not very state of the art gym area. Cafe closes too early.
many of the rooms do...
- What did you like most? Not much
- Was there anything you didn't like?I stayed at Evo Hotel in Salt Lake City and unfortunately it was quite disappointing. One thing that really surprised us is that this is not clear at all from the website: many of the rooms do not actually have real windows. Instead, they have what feel more like skylights or internal openings, without direct natural light. The rooms end up feeling a bit like small compartments rather than proper hotel rooms. Considering the price, it really doesn’t feel like good value for what you get. The overall atmosphere also felt a bit forced and pretentious, with a sort of aging hipster vibe that tries very hard to be cool but doesn’t quite succeed. Overall, the concept might sound appealing, but the reality didn’t live up to the expectations created online.
